Team on Germany

The representation of Germany is by far one of the three, next to the Netherlands and Spain, main favourites to win the title. The German team at the European Championship has been playing continuously since 1972, having made three victories in this event.

In the last three major events, Germany took the places at the podium but never once stood on the top step. The German team, third in the FIFA ranking, in qualifying for Euro 2012 has recorded 10 victories in 10 matches scoring 34 goals and losing only seven.

The top scorer and also the largest terror for goalkeepers at the tournament in Poland and Ukraine was the duo of strikers, Miroslav Klose and Mario Gomez,

the authors of nine and six goals respectively. Adding to it such players as Mesut Ozil, Sami Khedira, Jerome Boateng, Toni Kroos, Lukas Podolski and Manuel Neuer in the goalpost, we have a team that can afford to win the whole tournament.

In the group stage, Germany will face the Netherlands, Portugal and Denmark. Apart from the Dutch, they are obviously prime candidates to leave the group. The fans of the German national team have already been waiting for 22 years for the success of the team and for winning one of the national championship. The coach, Joachim Low, and his players can count on the loud cheering of their supporters who will certainly come in great numbers to Poland and Ukraine.
